Cornel "Manamuzik" Marshall
Over the span of his musical career, Cornel has had the honour to play with some of reggae's best. Perhaps it all started when he chose to miss his school graduation in order to make his first musical tour to Cuba with Charles and the Teddy Boys.
Soon after Cornel joined Tomorrow's Children with whom he toured extensively and recorded three albums. He later joined Third World, getting signed to Island Records, touring and recording for many years. He played with Zap Pow and Beres Hammond for a few international tours and three albums.
Cornel continued to freelance with numerous artists based both in New York and Jamaica. The highlight of his life came when he was invited to perform with Luciano in Addis Ababa in Ethiopia, where he stayed for two glorious months, not wanting to leave. Upon his return, he was called in to record at Exit Studios to record with Taj Weekes and Adowa, with whom he has been playing since the release of Deidem in 2008.
